The Hollow

There exists the legend of a spirit that preys upon the dreams of those with guilt in their hearts. Can you survive a night with The Hollow?

The Hollow is a short visual novel inspired by So Sang the Hollow by Avatar.
The Hollow details one  individual's night with a spirit known as The Hollow, A spirit which supposedly preys upon those with guilt in their hearts, and uses their own guilt as a weapon against them, via memories, and impersonating people in the guily soul's life. Can you conquer your own guilt, and come out on the other end?

                                                                                                                                                                                               

Important: This visual novel experience was intended to be much better fleshed out. However, PC failure, and repair, as well as several other middle-of-the-month events halted progress on developing this novel fully. Here is a list of features we would like to flesh out, and finish at a later date.

1.  The story had to be rushed, as the majority of the work had to be done 4 days before due date. These were cut to make the project possible to finish on time.
   1. Player choice and branching paths.
   2. A finished title screen.
   3. A longer story.
2. Art assets. There is one mandatory, important character that did not get art assets done, and two optional characters that never saw any kind of design.
3. Unique HUD and menu elements.
4. A unique designed font.

There is a lot that could have been done with this, and that could have been achieved in a single month, had development not been disturbed. We're sorry this project got cut so short, but we hope we can finish it at a later date, and we hope you enjoy the concept on its own.
